Emmanuel and Vanessa’s surprise engagement in Chicago, Illinois

Emmanuel and Vanessa’s surprise proposal was my very first truly traditional Mexican proposal, mariachi and all. It was wonderful. She had no idea what he was planning. Nervous as he was, he walked up to her house with a band of mariachi behind him and got down on one knee. She wasn’t expecting it at all, and having the opportunity to be there, to capture her facial expression was great. I wish them only the best.

Lex and Rodney’s amazing engagement photo session at Lincoln Park, Chicago Illinois

Lex and Rodney’s amazing engagement photo session took place at Lincoln Park in Chicago. Although it was a true winter day, with wind and snow, we got lucky enough to have some sun and make a few photos look like an autumn photo session. At Lincoln Park you always get more than what you need. From the view of the city, to nature and everything ion between. And, of course, them being Bears fans, we had to get a few shots with the jerseys on. Their engagement story and photos can be found on “How he Asked” I wish them nothing but the best in their marriage!

Amy and Matt’s engagement photos at Adler Planetarium, Chicago Illinois

As you can tell, this photoshoot, was done in the summer time, when light and heat really work in our favor. Amy and Matt decided to have their photos taken at Adler Planetarium, which is an amazing spot, because of all the small and interesting locations within it. Besides the wonderful Chicago backdrop, there’s also the beach to the south of it, the lake to the east and then the park passed the beach. This gives every couple a lot of choices and variety in photos, which is exactly what this wonderful couple got. I’m happy I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful couple. Kristin and Jason’s wonderful engagement photo session in Chicago, Illinois

Kristin and Jason’s wonderful engagement photo session was done all over downtown Chicago. They came in for the Bears game, and we had to end up at Soldier Field with jerseys on, but before that they wanted to cover as much as possible of all of the most important Chicago spots. Everything from Wrigley Building, to the Cloud Gate (the bean), and of course, Soldier Field. We had a great time covering all of these spots, and the weather was working with us as much as possible. They make a wonderful couple and I’m glad I had the chance to photograph their engagement.

Yah and Joe’s wonderful engagement session in Chicago, Illinois

Yah and Joe’s engagement photo session was very fun because they were extremely fun. Although the weather was cold, especially at night, it wasn’t too bad for photos. We started at Lincoln Park, and went from the Conservatory down to South Pond. Then we decided to end the photo session at the Planetarium where we didn’t spend too much time due to the very cold weather. So, we covered quite a significant amount of Chicago landmarks and got all the necessary photos. I wish them nothing but happiness and a fun destination wedding.

Jenny and Birav’s Engagement Photos in downtown Chicago, Illinois. This the very first couple that, actually wanted photos earlier in the day, than I proposed. It was nice because we got great lighting and the streets of Chicago weren’t crowded at all. They are a wonderful couple and I wish them the best.

The reason we chose these locations is mainly because they are out-of-towners and really wanted to capture a part of what really is Chicago and also because they got engaged at Navy Pier. Renee and Dave’s Winter Engagement Photo Session

Renee and Dave’s Engagement Photo Session was a more special one because it was done during winter and although it was very cold outside, they were both troupers and did not complain at all. This photo session turned out exactly as we wanted it, with the white-winter-land theme in it. Started off at Adler Planetarium then we photographed in the city for a bit, and finished up by the Drake Hotel. I wish them only the best in their marriage. Congratulations Renee and Dave.
