A professional engagement photo shoot lasts for about 1 to 1.5 hours and can be taken at one or more of your favorite locations. The entire photo session costs $325.00. You will receive your fully edited, high-resolution photos about two weeks later, along with full copyrights to your images.

An engagement session is a great way for us to get to know each other before the wedding day. It allows you to get comfortable in front of the camera, and you will get beautiful, relaxed portraits to use for save-the-dates, wedding websites, or display at your reception.
We can choose locations that are meaningful to you! Whether that is iconic Chicago locations like Olive Park or the Chicago Theatre, a favorite park, or an urban cityscape, I am happy to recommend scenic options based on your preferred style.
I recommend wearing outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable. Coordinating colors work much better than exact matching. Neutral tones, soft pastels, or jewel tones look great on camera. You are also welcome to bring a second outfit for a quick change during the session.
A standard engagement session typically lasts about 1.5 hours. This gives us plenty of time to explore 1 to 2 nearby locations and include outfit changes without feeling rushed.
The best lighting happens during “golden hour”—roughly one to two hours before sunset or right after sunrise. The light is soft, warm, and flattering for portraits during these times.
