Taking Yvonne and Jerry's wedding photos right in the center of Chinatown was an absolute blast. The neighborhood's incredible textures, bold red and gold colors, and iconic architecture gave every shot so much life and energy. We walked through the bustling streets, using the unique storefronts, vibrant banners, and distinct neighborhood landmarks as a dynamic, urban backdrop that you just can't find anywhere else. Moving right past the Chinatown square, the mix of cultural heritage and pure city energy fit their style perfectly, letting me capture some amazing, candid moments of the two of them just taking it all in amidst the lively atmosphere.

Their ceremony at the Chinese Christian Union Church in Chinatown was an absolute highlight to photograph. The historic church has such a unique presence right in the heart of the neighborhood, blending a sense of community with a beautiful, welcoming atmosphere. Inside, the architecture gave the whole service a classic, intimate feel that made capturing their vows feel incredibly grounded and special. Stepping right out of the ceremony and immediately being surrounded by the vibrant energy and distinct colors of Chinatown’s streets was amazing—it set the perfect tone for the rest of their day and gave us an incredible backdrop to jump right into their photos.
